Blake has always said that every guy in the world needs to be the dad of a 3 year old girl. And we've had the absolute pleasure of being the parents of 4, 3 year old daughters and it really is the sweetest experience ever.
We took the 3 little ones to the Cinderella Ballet not really knowing what to expect. We arrived early so the girls would have a chance to hang out with the dancers before the show, and they were so sweet. As soon as they saw us, they walked over with a basket full of heart-shaped suckers and gave one to each of the girls, then they talked to them, asked them princess-y questions and told them about their parts in the ballet. But as soon as Ava caught a glimpse of the Prince she squeezed my hand and said, "I want to go see Prince John", and my heart just melted all over again.

From the moment that we walked through the doors of the concert hall, they were completely mesmerized.
We had such great seats directly behind the Orchestra pit so the girls could really see what was going on everywhere. And the music was so beautiful, I wanted to just sit there with my eyes closed and take it all in. But my very favorite part of the whole night was listening to Ava just chat her little heart out about everything that was going on during the ballet. She followed everything so perfectly and was so enchanted by the story and the dancers, I watched her and light in her eyes more than I watched the actual ballet. It was a magical evening indeed.

The fabulousness of this night left Blake and I completely anxious to do is all over again next year. It was SOOOOO much fun!

We spent the evening with some of our most favorite people in the world, surrounded by the most scrumptious food and twinkling lights.

I'm totally disappointed that I didn't take more photos, but I was just having waaaaay too much fun. So whatev. Maybe next year :)
